I'm doing okay. Kind of stressed out. The pandemic and the way the world seems to be falling apart is weighing on me. Sometimes I find it hard to stay in a healthy, positive frame of mind.

My partner and I decided to go out of town for the first time in ages and visit my family. It will be good to see them again, but I wonder if I'm being too paranoid or not paranoid enough about the virus. Should I wear a mask the whole time? As far as I know, neither of us is infected, but we can't be sure without being tested.

I’m glad you are visiting your family! As long as you do masks, I’m sure it will be fine. You could probably get a test before you travel if you really wanted too. We traveled a little while back and got tested before it just for peace of mind.

Hey, I'm back. It was a little too late to get a test. Also hard to keep the masks on for an extended period of time. I was just with my immediate family, so we ended up taking them off. Didn't go out to socialize, and only saw my grandparents outdoors briefly. We kept our masks on for that. All things considered, I think we were pretty safe.
