Both: Would explaining feminist theory using trans activist terms better highlight the discrepancies between the two views on gender?

    Babies are non-binary, through maturation they biologically transition into women, & via socialisation they socially transition into women. "Cis" people transitioned, so they are trans. This is the only way to transition. Medical transition would need to involve undoing this process & then redoing it again, which isn't actually possible without reverting back to age 0 somehow.

    "assigned female at birth" means: not (currently) female, though. You can just say 'female' & 'male' (as adjectives). Trouble is people often refer to trans-women as female & never male or feminine (thereby confusing sex with gender).

    The "ew why are you interested in people's genitals" is so accurate though lol. They must be convinced that that's a super effective response.

    You're doing it again. The problem with trying to pick apart transgenderism in order to understand what they're trying to say, you either have to drink A LOT of alcohol such that you interpret their speech through a hazy stream-of-consciousness non-thought feelzdoubleplusgood; OR you are old enough to know how to diagram sentences, which is no longer taught in schools and hasn't been for years.

    What you said in the quoted bit, was that babies are born without a biological reproductive system and then by obeying the wishes of other people, they eventually morph into a... entity which we've all agreed to refer to as a woman but in reality could be anything at all including a carburetor on a 1969 Buick.

    In transland, words mean whatever you want them to mean while at the exact same time due to the space-time continuum fluxinator thingamajig, can mean something completely different to me -- and automagically we're both right!

    We would be better served, by encouraging young people or mentally vulnerable people, to climb down from pomoqueersaladpubertybullshitnotyetanadult fantasy escapism. words mean things.

    I mean, I know non-binary erasure is pretty bad within the movement, but I don't think anyone believes non-binary people lack a reproductive system.
