I would watch an alternative show with literally just European folk music.

I don't know if many of us would.

To be interesting, such a competition would have to be very innovative, not traditional, even if (especially if?) initially based on but then mixing up the various styles and themes of European folk music.

Yeah, most people probably wouldn't but I just really love folk music.
