I'm all for stripping all the powers away from the government, but that is not what these protests are about, they are about using state power against the people they don't like. That's why instead of blaming the individual cop, it's about blaming an entire group of people based on ideological bullshit.

Until you see the "nice cops maintaining peace and order" as the armed thugs who literally have the monopoly on violence to enforce whatever the political class decides, you aren't looking at the situation correctly.

People are basically susceptible to social influence by heredity, so the main issue is the actual distribution of power and people in general, ie normies. There's not really a way to fix bad incentives without working on the people and gaining power. Moralizing is rather pointless, it doesn't change much and it's not really feasible for sheep to stop being in a flock. MuhPurposeMuhMeaning. I used to be a Calvinist, you can't argue with feelings and ignorance.
