No vaccine that currently exists has been tested against inert placebo for safety.

That's ridiculous.

Here's one for the Oxford, AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine. The control was a placebo of saline.

Very many other vaccines and drugs would have similarly been tested against an inert placebo during phase 3 trials.

Your support of vaccines is not fact based, it's faith based.
