Yes, Odyssee over Bitchute, not just because of the problems you mentioned, but also because Bitchute practices censorship as well, so that it slowly turns into a limited hangout (although there's plenty good stuff still around). /u/Jesus has documented this censorship. I believe he was negative about Odyssee as well, though. His approach is to point out the identities of the owners, but that correlates with censorship. Take these words with a grain of salt, though, as I'm not that familiar with Odyssee and I could be misremembering what /u/Jesus said about it.

Odyssee provides the option to automatically mirror your youtube channel, so that you only need to upload it there. This is very convenient, but I feel ambiguous about it. It's a soft transition and not a boycott. If everyone has the convenience of just sticking with Youtube while it's possible, then there won't be a shift in consciousness. Odyssee itself may not get the views it otherwise would, and as a result, other content creators on that site won't get as much attention. Asha Logos takes this approach; there's no real need to view his Odyssey because it merely mirrors his Youtube channel. It's understandable, though: these people have a big following, and it's hard to predict what portion would follow them to the alternative platform if they made a complete switch.

This is a good idea, but in my opinion it should happen in a more organized way, with a dedicated website that has a write-up about the motivation for the switch, as well as a community dedicated to Odyssey (and related) content discovery where content creators can announce their switch. But then there should be a considerable number of people on that community. It'd help if the content creators would promote that community; they'd be incentivized to do so if they cared about it because of a shared set of values. That's what ultimately binds and what can help catalyze big changes.

When I reboot https://rabbithole.wf, I can create a subforum there that's dedicated to this effort, and you can moderate it. Are you interested in that?

And thanks for the channel recommendations. I wonder why they have such similar looking names. I haven't checked out the latter yet, but the former looks solid. Very well articulated.

It's what it is. I was kicked off Odysee and Bitchute is owned by a Zionist, possibly crypto, who cares only about money and works directly with the David Horowitz crowd of alt-right Jews. Gab is the only censorship free program but it obviously is a honeytrap because just look at this damn photo:

^ ^ ^ Torba is a crypto-Jew of Turkish descent and is not a Christian. Don't fall for it.

I have an essay of most of the alt-social medias including more obscure ones such as mewe, owned by a Libertardian Jew, which nobody uses but I've discovered that nearly every one is owned by shady people and their terms of service are ambiguous enough to allow future censorship.
