I actually reworked this post on reddit partly because I completely messed up the sequence alignments (Late night posting lol) I have just now editted this one here with my fixed version and added more info. Thanks for looking at it and searching for more info and if you look since I fixed the sequence alignment you can clearly see the start and tail differences.

Please also look where I also added more info towards the end of the post because I looked at some other results of the blast search and found that identical sequence from gp41 was also in the spike protein from MERS!

If you look at the MERS genome link notice there is a link to a corresponding pubmed article from early 2019 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30712865/

Thanks, I'll definitely look at it again soon.

I've suspected MERS as artificial for a long time and this looks like it's adding fuel to the fire:

the bacteriophage T4 fibritin foldon trimerization sequence is [....] GYIPEAPRDGQAYVRKDGEWVLLSTFLG

As far as the T4 fibritin foldon trimerization sequence, it seems now that MERS, HIV, and the Seattle modification of SARS2 all share this sequence with the T4 bacteriophage. Would be pretty mindblowing unless these were modified versions of the MERS, SARS2, and HIV.
