BBC trying to explain low death rate in Africa, apparently doing the exact opposite of social distancing, having overcrowded spaces may be the reason. It doesn't get more absurd than this

Maybe the environment played a factor.

Covid does not like hot climates with high humidity. It also dies quickly in UV light.

The average age of Africa is also a lot lower. The median age in Africa is 19.7 years, the number of people there over 70 (most at risk) is pretty low. Average life expectancy is low to mid sixties.
