Needs more context. How many deaths were there in 2018 and 2019? Is something causing them to reduce?

Also, part of the reason deaths are so low is that people are wearing masks and social distancing. But what if these practices also lead to less deaths in other areas? Less going out means less car crash deaths, and more wearing masks also means people catch less non-COVID diseases.

I do agree, though, that this is interesting.
