Well, I never had a prescription for it, #1. I hustled tabs/strips from the many, many, many people around me who did have one. In 2005 when I started, an 8mg bupe was $5. By 2015 when I started getting in trouble they were $20. I snorted little chunks of the orange tabs for years. That made small amounts last longer. When the strips came around, I was able to dissolve small chunks in a spoon and inject it into a vein. The half-life on that stuff is incredible, easily 24h before you start feeling sick. I stopped taking it because I finally got caught up with the law due to using research chemical benzodiazepines too much. I would still be on that orange shit if I didn't get in trouble. I had probation and was piss-tested and that stuff flags the opioid panel, as well as any marijuana etc etc. I was totally fully clean for a year, maybe more, I don't even know where to get bupe anymore, I'm completely away from the scene. Withdrawals were pretty raw, but I wasn't on 8-16mg per day , maybe 2mg per day so, I slogged through it, I know it was awful but time passes and memory fades. I take kratom now, although I don't feel it much anymore.
