I really don't think people giving you a like out of pity is the worst aspect of Social Media.

I don’t think it’s such a bad aspect I just think the way people give people like out of pity causes some people to misunderstand why they’re getting a like. A really bad aspect of social media is the way in which some people will use it to wave around their victim mentality

Your right when you mention people giving posts a like out of social and moral obligations the reason people feel obligated to do so is to show how supportive they want to be to person they’re giving a like to.
