The site is in a bad shape, on the one hand because of spam, on the other hand because the measures are annoying for real users. /u/in-the-clouds wrote a script that opens new Saidit tabs in the background. I recommend opening that in a new window to bypass it. But ultimately we have to jump ship to a new website imo. An active / responsive admin is essential. On Rabbit Hole, I use a blacklist that blocks all Tor and VPN connections and as a result I have 0 spam. I also recommend Matrix, which is run by /u/x0x7. That site is under active development.
