Once I got into my forties, getting my dick up just became, like, a lot of work. It's hardly worth it. So I look at porn only infrequently now. It's nothing one might call an addiction.

        Not being able to focus on simple tasks isn't normal. Ever been tested for ADHD?

        Enjoying pornography should not make it difficult to, for example, do the dishes.

        I thought for a second this post was targetting me, but so far I'm recovering.

        I found a very stupid but effective solution, that being that my only "porn device" is a phone, where i covered the screen with rubber bands around the phone, making it difficult and tedious to view and navigate the video. Oh, and changing the keyboard and phone language to Chinese didn't hurt either. Again, very stupid, but it works well for me.

          Well, it always happens to me. But the thing is, every time you (or your friend) fails, you gotta think, " Yes, I couldn't avoid it today, but tomorrow or even later I'll try again." and adapt your strategy. And the more effective strategies you make, the less often you have to make them, until your good hobby becomes second nature (or your bad habit becomes non-existent)

          Having a real relationship tends to remove the need for adult entertainment, and indeed any interest in it whatsoever. Sounds more difficult that it really is, there are a LOT of humans on the planet.

          It's sinful to desire a woman who isn't your wife. That's one of the ten commandments, and Jesus reiterated it during the sermon on the mount. Having sex, on the other hand, is tolerated by Paul because he doesn't expect us to be perfect, and it was obligatory in jewish tradition. In Genesis humans are commanded to be fruitful and multiply. So if anything is sinful, it's masturbation, definitely not sex. Only Gnostic Christians view sex as a real problem.
