How can we persuade the Department of Homeland Security to lighten up a bit?

Because it is all in the name of keeping you safe and the sheep always want to feel safe even though they aren’t even close to understating how unsafe they are. Just ask the big cities and now apparently, all Jews and Gaza as well. Those pat downs cost money and money is what big government loves to spend just so the sheep feel safe.

sheep always want to feel safe
They are not taught that they themselves have a pivotal role in their own safety, and not an authority who will inevitably abuse the power given to them.
This is simple human nature. It is not a uniquely political thing.

Actually, I think the vast majority of Americans are well aware that this is almost entirely total bureaucratic BS. But, they seem unclear on what exactly they can do about it. So, what exactly should they do about it? That, I believe, is the real question here.
Surely, there's some way to make the case that waste of this type is precisely what's destroying the U.S. economy. Isn't there some public relations angle of that type that might be effective, and persuasive, here?
