Because everything after the year 2000 is supposed to be "the future."

its 2023 and 2000 is now the past

it is a current dystopia and any techno shit now also is the equivalent of "boob tube" of 50 years ago

perhaps you might consider your own temporal defectiveness before contriving issues about others
