Back in college my daily best was 3 different girls in 24 hours. My fraternity brothers were green with envy. So green some of them reported me to our faculty advisor. I quit the frat the next day.

Men are more judgemental but I think there is some jealousy mixed in there also.

Even though common belief and statistics shows that women are more judgmental than men, I still believe that generalizations don't apply to everyone. Some women may be judgmental, it doesn't mean that all women are, and the same goes for men. By the way, that's indeed jealousy. Good thing you were able get out as fast as you could.
