I am a young boy. I spent almost a week in my room just studying. Yesterday, I took a walk at night to get some activity. As I walked on the empty streets, I noticed another man walking towards me.
I started panicking internally, but I tried to keep calm. As the distance closes, he asks what I am doing during this time.
I respond that I am just exercising a little, and I continue walking.
Then, he turns around and starts walking behind me?!? I was afraid he was trying to follow me home. I crossed the road, and thankfully he just continued.
Do you think being a young boy protected me from getting raped or assaulted? I feel like a young, pretty girl that is even smaller and weaker than me would have possibly been raped or assaulted.
I think this is one of the few benefits of being a man.
Maybe I am just too pessimistic because of all the murder stories I read.
