If she was revealing private things about you to Smoke, then I would understand your frustration. But from my understanding, she was simply telling him what vegetables you enjoyed.

Yes, you can politely ask Melody to not talk about your vegetable preferences to someone you dislike (Smoke). But she can also politely refuse. Sure, she could be a good friend and comply with your request, but she is under no obligation to. You cannot police someone else's private conversations.

In my opinion, not wanting Melody to tell Smoke your vegetable preferences is bit of an overreaction.

There's no way you're freaking out about vegetable preferences alone. I think there's more going on. I need more context. But in my opinion, you kinda overreacted man. Do better, be better, play better. I know you can, Musky. You're better than that.

I love you man. But it's only because I love you so much that I refuse to lie to you, and so I must give my real opinion. No lying allowed, even if it might hurt you and even if it's something you probably don't want to hear.

Anyway I'm gonna hump my pillow and pretend it's you until the situation is resolved. If the drama isn't resolved by my 1000th hump then you two need to cut ties with each other. I'll be keeping an eye out. This friendship seems too unhealthy to continue.

      I need people to talk to, a support network. I generally get along better with women than men. Generally the women are platonic and the name internet girlfriend is applied as one would "work wife." A handful have been more involved.
