The findings - which do not explain human behavior

Philosophy and human behaviour have been studied and debated for thousands of years, during which time our environment has shifted dramatically and thus so has the social and environmental impact of on behaviour. As much as we have actually learned, there is a long way to go beyond theory.

There's no doubt that overcrowding in big cities causes all sorts of psychological and behavioral problems. These have been scientifically researched and observed. Nevertheless one has to be careful not to use scientific findings to push a political agenda

This was pretty much what I was getting at right here. There are potentially many problems caused by living in overcrowded environments, and while there might be social and political consequences of this, it may merely be anecdotal or coincidental, or may be indirectly linked due to other factors, even as mundane as diet or mere statistical prevalence in the condensed population.
