How long until a post gets locked from commenting?

Reddit is like 6 months or so before people can't common anymore, seems like SaidIt posts lock sooner.

Saidit's posts never lock, and it's been that way for over 3 years. It's a change we made right at the start of saidit.

And actually reddit just changed it so their posts no longer lock, just a few months ago. So reddit copied saidit lol
