It's not pressing a button over and over again. Train Sim World 2 features a much more immersive cockpit then Train Simulator 2020 and whatever stupid number they come up next. and the upcoming Sim Rail (not related to each other) has dispatch mode which I'm more interested in and has realistic cab controls. The focus is more on realism then swamping us with new routes:
Almost too realistic to the point they are looking at giving options. Run 8 now defunct: was so realistic you actually needed to learn about the fucking loco before using it and wasn't for the faint of heart but it seemed to have died off I guess being too realistic and not enough awareness. I almost got that one too if it had more support but Sim Rail is independent and seems to fill my thirst for realistic locos.
