it actually is very easy: You just gotta input how the notes move: So e.g. if a note moves up you post an "u". If the notes move down you post a "d". If the note stays the same you post e.g. an "s".
I myself as an statistician can assure your confidence into math. If you post according to my scheme, explained above: I will identify your song with 98 % security, given the fact you at least give me the movement between twelve notes.
Music is just math in beautiful. :)

I can't hear it in my head anymore. That's a neat method. How would you compare it to other songs though unless they were also categorized?
