Ever heard of trains ? Maybe old-school but one of the few things i like is traveling by train.

I don't even like the process before stepping into a plane. The time you save on mid-range flights you spend in some lobby with overpriced food.

Train travel has its charm. You can see where you go, e.g. . You can sit without harassment and that-alike.

I know it is not appropriate for every journey but i look it up every-time nonetheless.

I love trains but never thought of taking one to get up north. That's a good idea, looks really economical too, at least until you have to rent a car.
