Giving a shoutout to my pal Qubes+Whonix.
Moving away from Windows is very good, but that only removes most of the spying from the box you're using. When every network packet you send and receive is captured as soon as they leave your device, you're almost back to square one, sadly. And that's where the Whonix part comes in.
