We can never actually determine whether or not a machine has consciousness. It may, however, render an ever more excellent illusion or even emulation of it.

This is precisely the type of artificial "intelligence" that is behind the WEF's agenda for example. Superhuman AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) is already 20 years old. We're only just now ALLOWED to consider the idea, since "they" (the guys with the infinite black budgets that created these AGIs) have milked it for all they could want.
