The 'world's blackest paint' is licensed exclusively to the artist Anish Kapoor. In retaliation Stuart Semple was incensed when Kapoor bought the exclusive rights – so he made what he says is a blacker one available for everyone besides Kapoor.

The real scandal was that he was banned from the pink but still did it.
