Cool little doc! I am very familiar with that type of architecture having spent most of my life in that province. I've never seen similar buildings outside of Quebec. Those damned outside stairs turn into deathtraps when the melting snow turns into ice overnight...

And those outdoor stairs are a bitch for moving in the winter, especially large furniture.

Leases in Quebec technically expire on the first of July so it's not much of an issue. But that many people moving around the same time frame does create a plethora of other problems. Quebec and it's "charming" eccentricities...I still love that province though.
