The time of Existential Threat came in 2013/4 when the CIA/USA/UN/NATO/EU took down the legally elected president Viktor Yanukovich.

Whose only crime was that he refused to join the EU and asked Russia for economic help and relief.

After that point when they took him down, Ukraine ceased to be an independent & sovereign country. Enjoy the Biden Gang Rape.
