I get that it's supposed to be some jab at the patriarchy and it's very colorful, but what is the real plot here? Barbies made a matriarchy that's "perfect" except if you're a Ken. They go to the real world for reasons and meet a dowdy hispanic mom and her spawn, who's woke, apparently (the real villain), and Ken finds out that not all Kens are enslaved or something. Then Barbie fights to return things to the matriarchy and everyone, including the Kens (who lose their awesome casas I might add), is happy again? Even for a dumb comedy about a kid's toy, it's crazy stupid. Why did it do so well? I mean, I saw Oppenheimer too and I don't get the whole OppenBarbie thing. Can someone tell me why it's praised so highly by...anyone?
