I'm asking because I keep on hitting myself unconsciously and I also hit myself when something hurts like I did when I was younger. I'm in a referral for speech therapy and they'll see weather or not I need occupational therapy, but the hitting myself is causing worse quality of life aka not getting as much sleep as I was before I started hitting myself again. I might ask my therapist about it too. Probably will get reassessed when I move out. My social communication is more level 2; every level 2 autist issues with social communication I relate to but my restricted and repetitive behaviors are for sure level 1. I used to be more severe as I used to be diagnosed with classic autism but I'm afraid I'm not getting the support I need.
