Always considered Libertarians to generally have the right idea on a lot of social issues (at least moreso than libs or cons), but completely batshit regarding anything economic.

Climate activists are also advocating for “climate lockdowns,” in the same way there were Covid lockdowns. Ideas floated for a climate lockdown have ranged from shuttering people in their homes and restricting air travel to providing a Universal Basic Income and introducing a maximum income level.

The last two aren't bad ideas though, as long as they are applied equally to all and that the elites are not exempt from the second.
