Hate Crime bill in Scotland would change definition of "Heterosexual" -Trans, Inc, is coming for The Straights now! by BEB in GenderCritical

The problem is The Straights aren't really aware of these things happening, so there probably won't be a lot of backlash coming from them, which is unfortunate.

A swedish woman asks college students if she can be a man and then asks if she can be Japanese. Double-think ensues. by LasagnaRossa in GenderCritical

To me it looked not like pride but like fear. Like they had to give the answer they were made to think was right or else.
That's why when the interviewer pressured them to "validate" her other absurd claims about age and height, many of them looked uncomfortable and didn't want to answer.

edited a typo

She could have been Japanese though. Or French, or Russian etc there's no way to tell she isn't just by looking at her. Unlike for sex in the vast majority of cases, or skin color, age and height.

Serious question.Could the LGB community get free from harassment from trans people by asserting their "cis" attractions to be fetishes? by SanityIsGC in GenderCritical

[–]momiji 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The problem TRAs have is not what they call having "genital preference", the problem is women and lesbians having boundaries and a sexuality that doesn't involve penis havers. They don't harass gay men nearly as much as they do lesbian women. So no, the cis is my kink thing wouldn't work.

Tim’s commandeering female centric subreddits and turning them into trans subreddits. by LoganBlade in GenderCritical

Came here to mention r/girlgamers. I have been subbed there for years and I hate what the sub has become. It went from an interesting and female centric gaming sub to 90% of the posts being "look at my new pink mouse".
The "am I welcome here" posts are so annoying too, read the sidebar will you? Of course you are welcome, if you weren't the sub would probably be banned. A lot of the active users (and mods) are trans and so many users are men (not trans women).

After taking over the lesbian subs on reddit the TRAs are going after the gay guy subs now. by [deleted] in GenderCritical

It makes me so fucking angry to see that gay subs are allowed to exist on reddit and to have (and rightfully so) trans exclusionary views but lesbians are kicked off the platform for not wanting ladydick.
It's not simple homophobia on their part, it's the misogyny that I can't stand, and the double standards.

TERFs, I see TERFs everywhere... by Lyssa in GenderCritical

Yes! Every friend/relative I've talked with about the Rowling case was 100% terf after I explained to them the situation and they read her essay. The problem is all of them were very misinformed about what actually happened, what the accuses against Rowling were or even what her point of view was. News sources (both international and those of my country) did as usual a horrible job in portraying reality, going instead for clickbaity titles and content.

TRAs were angry when r/gendercritical existed. Now they're mad s/gendercritical exists. It's almost like banning subs doesn't delete people from existence by [deleted] in GenderCritical

Wait do they want us off this platform too? How do they think they can do that exactly?

[–]momiji 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

They think the term was just created, to accommodate to them. (Idk where that came from because back in the day it was used by rad fems who would nowadays be called terfs

The terf version would be womyn. Womxn was indeed created to include them and genderspecial people.

Womyn predates womxn and was used to get rid of "men" inside the word "women", while womxn was later created to queerify the word woman and include folx who are not female in the idea of "woman".

The emotional and mental labor of explaining why men in dresses are valid should not be on the most oppressed minority on this planet, didn't you know that??

I see it more as a patronizing way of saying "we gave her a chance to repent and she didn't so she deserves to burn".

This is exactly what made me peak initially, a few years ago when I was deep in Tumblr hell. Terf blocklists and callouts were starting to become the norm and were always accompanied by messages like "don't engage, block on sight", "don't even read their posts", "don't visit their blogs" etc
If your beliefs are so threatened by people who disagree with you then they are not as solid as you brainwash people to think they are.
