I much prefer this voting system over Reddit's. One of the things that drove me crazy about Reddit was the hive-mind of subs. If your opinion differed from the hive, you were downvoted to oblivion. At Reddit, the popular information was considered the correct information, facts be damned! This caused a lot of people there to believe bad info to be true.

I truly believe sites like Reddit are contributing to a break-down of society because people cannot discern "popular" from "fact." The sci-fi series The Orville did a great episode about this; I think it was Season 1, Episode 7: Majority Rule, where death sentences were determined by how many up and down votes the suspect got instead of a trial.

On Reddit, they claimed that a lawyer named Angelucci worked with Hollander on the Women-Registering-For-The-Draft case that was heard by Salas. He was just murdered a few days ago in CA, also by someone disguised as a delivery driver. His friends believe he was murdered for a case he was working on. In addition to the land grab case detailed in the article above, he was also working on case against CPS. It's odd that they would quickly assume Hollander was the murderer when both the judge and her high-profile attorney husband had a slew of people who would want them dead.

Back before emails were not required, I never gave Reddit my email address. I'd made several accounts back then. I got emails from Reddit to the email address that I never gave them, notifying me that someone was trying to re-activate these accounts and I needed to log in to stop them. I figured it was some kind of trap tp confirm my identity and never responded to them.

I have glanced at the story a little bit here and there as info came out, but have not read too in-depth because it is too upsetting. But I wanted to say something supportive. I feel like the silver lining of the lock-down is that each and every one of us had to change our lives in some way. For some it was drastic, for others, it was minor. But we've had to conscientiously think about our patterns and how to change them to fit the new guidelines. And now many of us spend our time and energy on different things than we would have normally.

Let's face it. Most of us live on a rat wheel. We just thoughtlessly run on the wheel. Yeah, we all have pivotal moments in our life where we make life decisions, ie, should I change my job?, but for most of us, the vast majority of days are programmed by school, work, or whatever. It's the first time we, as a world, have stopped to re-think what we are doing and why we are doing it. And with less distraction, like sports, it's been harder to keep blinders on to issues like this.

I know things are crazy and tumultuous and scary and bleak right now, but I have a lot of hope that society is at a turning point where we, as a society say we're not going to put up with this shit anymore. If enough of us demand an investigation and don't stop pressuring until we have accountability for her death and the cover-up, they'll have to comply. We should also demand they implement preventative measures to stop this type of thing happening again. These kinds of petitions don't actually do anything beyond giving the government a finger on the pulse. If enough people sign this, then Trump will know that doing something about the masks could earn him more votes. If the petition doesn't get enough traction, he'll focus on other areas that he thinks will get him more votes. Likewise, if enough people from particular states with mask requirements sign this, the governors of those states may realize this policy will lose them votes.

I am distraught that here in CA, children are required to wear masks. I feel like the restricted oxygen flow cannot be good for their brain and lung development, amongst other potential dangers. I am anxious to get this rule repealed before school starts. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I have to admit, I am completely oblivious to all this stuff. I mean, my dad got custody of me and my sisters in a day and age when men NEVER got custody, and he had to fight really hard for it. I am Gen X. I have heard that my generation is the last cohesive generation because we were little in the days of monoculture. As we grew, things like cable took off, offering a multitude of choices for TV shows. When I was little, there were only a handful of channels to choose from and most of us watched the same shows. Same goes for education. That is when alternative schooling programs, like magnet schools, started to take root. But I am not sure that mono-culture is a good thing. I think they should be teaching accurate history from multiple-view points so people understand nuance in the shaping of history and evolution of our culture, not make sure everyone is programmed the same via ethnoculture classes.

In the US, people live in socio-economic clusters. What a house is worth is what the median income of that neighborhood can afford to pay. Houses are more than the millennial and Z can afford, so a housing crash was inevitable because they are the future buyers of homes as the Great Depression and Baby Boomers die off.

Is now the crash? Not yet. But definitely there will be a giant economic crash after the election. Why? Well, it's complicated, but let's summarize it as the stock market is being artificially inflated by the federal reserve using our tax dollars. Once the election is over, the federal reserve will stop the propping up and things are going to crash far worse than 2008.

The federal reserve requiring no more reserves means that a banking collapse will be imminent with the next downturn, which should start in August if the stimulus isn't renewed. Thank you! I have been doing this FTB fight for 8 years. Learning how to navigate the bureaucracy has been slow, frustrating and a bit expensive, but I am finally starting to see results. I am hoping that I can pass what I have learned on to others so that others can also take up the fight against government agencies in the State of CA and see results more quickly and easily than I did. I feel like the FTB saw me as vulnerable and deliberately exploited that vulnerability. Now that I am in a better position, I feel obligated to fight for all the other vulnerable people that they are actively exploiting because most of them cannot fight for themselves. Thank you! The Franchise Tax Board's mandate is "to protect the revenue." They take that mandate as "gather as many dollars as possible in any way possible." As I have talked to lawyers and other groups about the FTB, the most commonly used word to describe FTB is "retaliatory." They have a big stick and they are eager to beat you with it if you don't submit unquestioningly to all their demands -- even blatantly illegal demands. They harassed the fuck out of me for money that I never owed because I had the audacity to point out to them that I had already paid the money and they'd lost it. They refused to locate my lost money -- they said they didn't have it -- despite me sending proof of payment 31 times -- and they tried to garner wages and levy bank accounts because I didn't send them more. How dare I want an accounting of what they did with the money that I'd sent them!

That said, the CA government squanders money like there is no tomorrow, and legislators don't want to fuck up their gravy train. So legislators turn a blind eye to the unlawful practices, and when they can't, they do everything they can to shield the FTB from consequences of their unlawful practices. I am certain that is why Gov, Brown and State Controller Yee set up The OTA court in the first place. The BOE was siding with the taxpayers too often -- that wasn't going to be tolerated! Out with the BOE and in with The OTA, who would usually side with FTB!

As to the question of who started this... it's been going on a long time and I am sure it has slowly but steadily built up over the years, with many, many people involved. Hmmm... creative genius is not usually how you describe a lawyer who sets legal policy for a government agency... and it was interesting that he retired at the same time I publicly accused them of racketeering.... he also said he planned to do a lot of traveling in his retirement. I thought "Yeah, I'll bet you'll be spending a lot of time in countries without extradition treaties."

I know, right? I have learned a lot about government bureaucracy over the last few years as I've been fighting the FTB. Each legislator is only allowed to present a few bills per year. Each legislator is on several committees, and they usually present bills related to the committees they are on. They also all have their "pet projects" -- for example, I am in Toni Atkins district and she is a lesbian and pushes a lot of LGTBQ stuff. Since they are limited on how many battle fronts they are allowed to fight, they pick the bills that give them the most "bang for the buck." So, they view my bill as only one vote -- mine. They pick bills that will garner them tens of thousands of votes, as well as big campaign contributions to ensure ads to garner more votes. This is where lobbyists come into the picture. The lobbyists get legislators attention in the first place with offers of donations, endorsements of influential groups, etc. and convince the legislators why its best to choose their particular bill over all the others they are considering.

As for class action... I spent months looking for a lawyer for a class-action suit to no avail. When I finally got to the "fuck it, I'll do it myself" point and went to the law library, I found out that "Class Action" means that every person in the group was harmed in an identical way. So say there are 100 people in the class. If everyone sued individually, they would be basically 100 identical lawsuits. Since tax situations vary with each person, it is unlikely that each taxpayer was harmed in an identical way. As such, it is unlikely that a judge would ever certify a class in a lawsuit involving income taxes. But if a few of us sue individually and win, the State of CA will have to change the unlawful practice because they will be losing more money than they are making from the unlawful schemes. But as long as the racketeering schemes are net positive financially, the government will let it keep going.

I am almost done reading a book called The Celestine Prophecy. The TLDR is that each person naturally emits energy, what psychics call our “aura.” When two people have conflict, the winner sucks away some of the energy of the loser, giving the winner a physical and emotional boost. The reason we have interpersonal conflict is because unconsciously we are all trying to get this boost.

The Prophecy is that the humans will learn how to harness this energy out of the earth itself. Once we no longer need to suck one another’s energy to fill ourselves up, we will no longer desire interpersonal conflict and we will become a peaceful species. This transformation allegedly started in the late 20th century and will be 100% complete by the middle of this millennium.

I keep wondering if the purpose of this lock-down is to keep us indoors and living in fear to stop the prophecy from coming true (crushing all negative and fearful thoughts is part of the process needed to gain the energy from Earth). I keep wondering if the reason they keep trying to divide us (ie right vs left) is to ensure that groups continue to hate one another, preventing the prophecy's promise of love and peace as a species.

While I agree with u/useless_aether about what the plan of the elites is to take advantage of the situation, I am hoping that this time of forced pattern breaking gets people to think differently, to be more open to the positive energy and thought patterns that the Celestine Prophecy says will transform our species. I have a rare kidney disease. I healed myself though diet and 16-hour fasting. Western medicine wanted me to go on chemo, which has abysmal success rates for my illness and heinous side effects. They were trying to make sure that I was sick for life! Then I would need to see the doctor every month and take multiple drugs for the rest of my life. And probably would have been on dialysis, too. It was my realization that the American medical association was deliberately giving bad advice in order to make us all chronically ill. Their goal is to keep their business booming and profits up, not to heal people.

I think the corrupt have hijacked the culture of SF. According to this article, Newsom was elected because he was backed by 8 powerful families, including the Pritzkers. Virginia Giuffre said an owner of a large hotel chain abused her as a minor, and most believe this was one of the Prizkers, who own the Hyatt chain. I got emails from Reddit to the email address that I never gave them, notifying me that someone was trying to re-activate these accounts and I needed to log in to stop them. I figured it was some kind of trap tp confirm my identity and never responded to them

It sounds like your definition of peace is keeping the narrative tightly controlled so that people are brainwashed by the false societal narrative of the ruling class. She says that we need to shed the false narrative and create one that helps all of us in society flourish. Where we are at right now is that the ruling class has lost control of the societal narrative and there is a clash between the people who have an accurate narrative, the ruling powers trying to force the false narrative down our throats, and a whole lot of confused people who know things aren't right in our world right now, but have no clue that the war we are fighting is actually a war of who controls the societal narrative.

I agree wholeheartedly with this: The only way to break free, is to stop, look within, and to fully realie the concept "I am." and . To break the cycle, we must do what they least expect to do. To stop choosing any sides. To stop identifying with any narratives. Just be. Just exist. Realize that anything that stems from fear is bullshit and a total illusion. Just realize I am, and everything else will make sense.

Right now, TPTB are trying to shore up power. They are planning to actively take away our autonomy as people via this new tracking system. We need to band together NOW and refuse to let them get away with this, or other violations of sovereignty and all types of corruption. This is a major turning point in history.

It feels impossible to overthrow TPTB when we look at ourselves as individuals against "the system," but the reality is that there are billions of us and only thousands of them. The fortress looks impossible to penetrate, but the bricks of their fortress are hollow and the walls can easily be pushed over if enough people push. But we do have to push. We can't sit around and hope the situation magically fixes itself.

So pick a piece of wall and start pushing on it. Trust that other people are also pushing on the wall, even if you can't see them. It's all one big wall and the more people who walk up to the wall and start pushing on it, the easier it will become to completely knock it over.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. And please remember that other people have a right to their opinions, too. Please don't belittle someone who has a different opinion than you do. I believe this belittling tactic falls under the category of Interrogation – Asking questions until you find a weakness to prey upon to syphon energy. You just did exactly what the book talked about: trying to create conflict via belittling. If you managed to get me to play your game by being defensive, then you would have succeeded in sucking some of my energy. But I refuse to play and, as the book instructed, I just called you out on your effort to create conflict to suck my energy. When everyone learns how to not get sucked into these conflict tactics, we'll be well on our way to spiritual evolution.
