90s for sure. I was called a tomboy and called myself a tomboy. I don’t recall it ever being used as an insult. It just meant a girl who wasn’t girly.

I grew up liking “boy” things too, OP, and who knows if I would have made it to adult womanhood if I had been born 20 years later. There’s so much pressure on people these days to make their bodies match their “gendered” behaviour and the medical establishment is treating puberty blockers and HRT like they’re the new antidepressants.

Haha this reminds me of a website I used years ago where you could search a movie and it told you if the dog in it died so you wouldn’t have to watch it. We need a database like that - “does she choose the man?”
