Could you please post the content of the article? Not all of us want to make accounts with every news site that gets posted here.

I just tried the "white girl" test...

Had to "-" about 7 different words in order for it to give me couples that WEREN'T multiracial.

Something weird is definitely going on.

Sadly, a single web search turns up the fact that hospitals are allowed to (and frequently do) refuse treatment on grounds that the patient is unable to pay.

I think the difference in due process is the fact that being there is mandatory. It would be more comparable if you were forced to be in the hospital when you're injured, but could only get a doctor if you paid first.

Obviously any comparison will fall apart at some point, but exploring these nuances is half the fun!

Social worker voices concerns about kids transitioning at a young age, gets shut down in the comments by LadyLautrec in TumblrInAction

This is pure insanity; every one of the comments calls her crazy for suggesting that young children, who, for the record, are by law not allowed to:

Drive

Drink Alcohol

Smoke

Use certain legal recreational drugs

Own a gun

Apply for loans

on the basis that their brains aren't fully developed, shouldn't be able to transition without serious thought and analysis.

The comment saying "no physician gives out dysphoria diagnoses out like candy" is just gold; several clinics are being exposed for giving out dysphoria diagnoses willy nilly, and these people keep perpetuating this lie.

What happened to the skepticism against Big Pharma that the general public had a decade ago? Are people forgetting that the medical industry does not have the public's best interests in mind? Do they forget how wildly expensive these procedures are, and that it is in the best interest of a doctor's wallet to have more patients? Do they not know that 'a cured patient is one less customer?' Has the world gone mad?

Anyhow, enough internet for today.
