The Silicon Valley-based crowdfunding site Gofundme has informed The Grayzone that it has frozen all money raised in our recent fundraiser “due to some external concerns.” Our initiative was devoted to providing independent journalists Wyatt Reed, Kit Klarenberg, and Alex Rubinstein with long-term positions.

On August 19, when we demanded to know why Gofundme had refused to authorize the transfer of the funds we raised, a member of the site’s Trust and Safety Team identifying themselves simply as “Sabrina” emailed the Grayzone the following statement:

“Our number one goal here is ensuring that the money from GoFundMe fundraisers always gets to the right place, so we really appreciate you helping us to make sure GoFundMe is a safe place to give.

I asked a customs official last month, crossing from Canada, if the tech used facial recognition and she just said yes. I couldn't do jack shit about it. 2014-21: Civil War in the East with Ethnic Russian seperatists fighting the Kiev regime. Trump was arming Ukraine and was impeached for threatening to extort Ukrainians about information pertaining to Hunter Biden, by way of withholding lethal military aid. Civil War continues with HRW calling out human rights abuses on both sides

2021-22: Biden continues to leave the door open for Ukraine to have future NATO membership saying "It's up to Ukraine." Russia wants a treaty to make sure Ukraine remains neutral. Zelensky and Biden reject that deal so Russsia invades.

2022-23: Russia had wanted a quick victory but were sanctioned harder and fought against more US and NATO supplied weapons, volunteer fighters from all over Europe than they expected too.. It's turned into a much bloodier type of WW1 style siege warfare with occasional hypersonic missiles and attacks from Ukraine within Russian Territory.

Yeah I've got a cousin who did 5 tours in Afghanistan/Iraq and half the year works for a Def Con calibrating some device on helicopters. The rest of the time he drinks heavily, plays COD, goes shooting.

He wasn't frontlines either. He operated supply with Blackhawks, but it all takes its toll. I've got like a half dozen military cousins and friends. Another cousin was stationed off the Persian gulf.

Illegal Search and seizure. Bail is supposed to be a deposit. I've never once received my bail back--drug, DWI ( now don't drink) and nuisance crimes
Forced confessions without a lawyer present.
Speedy trials are not so speedy
Right to a jury of the peers is subject to jury nullification
Cruel and Unusual punishment. I've only been to jail on minor offenses. State Pens are a lot worse.

I'm an advocate for getting people out of jail/prison whether they looted businesses in 2020 or took souvenirs from the Capitol. The punishment doesn't fit the crime

Hey! I tried to promote my books on there. Then my habits got the better of me and learned out to procure substances on the site and showed off like a modest Hunter Biden. Point being Reddit has put money in my pocket, albeit modestly. It's a great place to comisserare with fellow White Sox fans or people my age who have no future

Censorship has been a problem on the drug subreddits. It jsed to have a sub with the reputable sellers. That's been concerned. Possibly with lethal consequences. Yeah also political censorship is a bitch of course.
