I am really confused about all this and i have some questions. Would be awesom if you would answer some of them.

I completely agree. These harsh stereotypes are the problems. I think we should change the way we see men and women with these locked in stereotypes. If society would be more exepting to feminine men and masculine women, less people would feel the need to change their gender.

but what exactly is the gender "woman" ?

The social role "women" that we expect from women for centuries. Emotionality, Caringness, Beauty. If a men acts like this, they often get insulted for it. So i understand that people are sick of it, like "fine if yall call me a girl i can be one". I belive if the gender roles wouldn`t exist, less people would feel the need to be trans.

I don´t agree with this example. Gender is used as a social contruct, animals don´t have that. Humans have stereotypes and roles assigned to the sex that we call gender. F.E. if a man is very emotional and cries, people will call him "girl" or "pussy". I often felt the pressure of behaving like a "real man" would. Animals don`t feel this pressure, because they don´t have that complex social lifes.

I don´t think you should employ by sex or gender at all. Take the best person for the job by their qualification. For the women´s health comitee, just be rational and only have people with the sex female.

And even if the government finds a definition, i don´t think the people need to use the same.

They are the gender female. You can´t change your sex. It´s determined by the chromosomes. And i´m attracted to the sex female, not the gender female. That was always my definition of "Straight/Hetero".

At least that´s my opinion, i guess everybody sees that differently.

Idk if it makes sense to adapt your sexuality to the definition of the government. I´m from Germany and don´t really care about the governments definitions.

I believe that transwomen are women and i respect their desicions and pronouns. But i never saw that as a reason to have sex with them. I actually never thought about having sex with transwomen as something straight guys should do.
