Sure. But emotional men shouldn´t be insulted, for beeing themself. Every person is diffrent and this is okay.

I completely agree with you that gender is a social construct and that men who do not meet the expectations of that construct should not be penalized for it.

Don't you find it trans/gender ideology regressive in that respect? Under trans ideology, young boys who are more emotional or otherwise less masculine by society standards are being told that they are probably not really boys. It is teaching kids that if they do not conform to these gender stereotypes they have an identity problem that needs to be solved with a lifetime of costly, sterilizing medications and surgeries. It is reinforcing the very stereotypes that you take issue with, suggesting that you cannot be emotional and still be male.

I am curious as to how you reconcile those ideas.

I completely agree. These harsh stereotypes are the problems. I think we should change the way we see men and women with these locked in stereotypes. If society would be more exepting to feminine men and masculine women, less people would feel the need to change their gender.
