even tho i am something of a veteran number cruncher, numbers like 1.9 trillion are just so very big that even i cant get my head wrapped around it, so lets just do some basic math..

the population of the united states is approx 350 million people.

1.9 trillion (1,900 billion) divided by 350 million(0.35 billion) =

1900/0.35=$5428

that should be enough to give $5,428.00 to each and every person in the united states, but for some reason i keep hearing about checks that will go out for the amount of $1,400.

if a check for $1,400 were sent out to 0.35 billion people,

1400*350,000,000=$490 billion dollars.

1.9 trillion minus 0.49 trillion leaves $1.41 trillion unaccounted for.

where exactly is the remaining 1.41 trillion going to?
