I lost a good friend simply because I told him I was bummed about the prospect of White people becoming a minority in the US - and in fact the entire West. That was it. I didn't even go further than that. I have much more radical views, of course, but he didn't know that. Literally just stating that I care about my country and my people was enough for him to freak out and eventually stop talking to me altogether. He then also misrepresented what I actually said to the rest of my close group of friends in our groupchat and basically forced me to defend myself against his ridiculous accusations of me supporting genocide or some other asinine bullshit like that. I used to think he was a reasonable dude, but he got really caught up with reddit-tier socialism the past couple years and all that critical race theory nonsense. He's like a completely different person. Part of me is bummed about it, but with his fanaticism, it was bound to happen eventually.
