Unfortunately likely. These Voat wignats have absolutely no self-awareness, I can't imagine any reddit alternative gaining traction with how they behave.

I did lurk there from time to time and it's a shame to see it go. While I did sometimes disagree with the general opinions, it was a place with lively discussion and honesty, not just a circlejerk like most pro-TRA subreddits.
