There's a fine line between madness and stupidity. But whatever you call it, yeah. There's no reason to believe reincarnation (or any other form of afterlife) exists. I guess, arguably reincarnation has more evidence than most, in that a handful of people claim they can remember past lives, but the vast majority of people cannot, so it still seems like a very shaky proposition to literally stake your life on.
