The "wholesome" adjective really buttresses the on-the-spot delivery of justice.

Boy saying got insurance, wow. The shit for brains is so stupid not knowing the theft cost goes straight to the customers. Bring back the chain gangs and theses animals will never comate a crime again.

No, well you need to straighten this out with insurance company's. Theft generally covers all acts of stealing. There are three major types of insurance contracts for burglary, robbery, and other theft. Burglary is defined to mean the unlawful taking of property within premises that have been closed and in which there are visible

Where are you getting it from that theft cost goes to the customers? The cost for the insurance may, but not the cost for the theft itself. The whole point of insurance is that they pay for that.

Stores take (theft) on the chin from a profit and loss point of view, but then they pass on this cost of doing business in the form of higher prices.

It's been like than for 100 + years, also when a insurance pays out a clame they pass that on to customers as well.
The whole point of insurance is that they pay for that.
No, we the customers pay.

Neither of those sources mention insurance. It seems obvious to me that theft as an endeavour increases the expenses for the owner and that that gets passed down to the customers, but I see no indication that the same is true for individual instances of theft like the one in the OP. If that was the case, then what are they even insured for?
