The (dead) thief's brother claims:

A vehicle is not worth taking someone's life, I don't care what kind of car it is.

With which I agree. So: don't go stealing something that costs literally a year of someone's working life or more to pay for a new one, and you won't lose your own. Q.E.D.

I agree.

The only person who values a truck more than his life is the thief

This thief is extremely stupid.

  1. Steals the car and doesn't haul ass away from the scene of the crime.

If you are going to steal a car at least drive it out of sight. Retarded.

  1. Pulls out gun and shoots guy who already is pointing his gun at you.

Retarded. Utterly retarded. You've already lost the draw, there is almost no hope of success. You're dead if you try. But let's say by some miracle you did win, congrats, you've gone from car thief to murder, which do you think is the lighter sentence?

Clearly blowing this guys brains out didn't make much of a difference to the activity going on upstairs anyway.

If you're not a beneficiary of the current "education system" you probably know they used to routinely hang horse thieves. If you paid attention, you learned why; depriving someone of transport was often a death sentence at the time.

Well, we've come full circle: Becoming suddenly 'un-horsed' is just as dangerous in "modern society" as it was in the Old West.
