Nah you're dragging the discussion in points that shouldn't be dragged on.

If this was say covid or the lockdowns and you wanted to discuss details that would be more understandable, as the narrative isn't set in stone.

"Climate change" or "planet is dying" is something that is happening and there is no arguing about it. Like I said, the best thing to discuss would be what we should do about it, or if we even should do something about it. Where on our lifestyles we would be willing to compromise on etc.

Not trying to do anything besides promote critical thinking. It is fundamental to consider data sources. It is fundamental to seek and evaluate multiple hypotheses. If you are looking for truth, you should not depend on perceived consensus.
