Non-fascists are tolerated. But most sane people are very tempted to become fascists in a world where leftists are threatening to ruin everything and indoctrinate children.

I hate fascism, but it's not hard to see why it appeals to so many people in this day and age.

The incessant harrassment of schools, children and school boards by a small handful of parents in each state is what we're seeing. Whereas the interests of children are a matter solely for their parents and those children, there are a few angry assholes - shilling for a GOP narrative that's false - creating additional problems for the kids, schools and school boards. One can sum this up as a kind of fascist harrassment that's NEW, and entirely political. Kids, schools, school libraries and school boards were no different before these angry anti-education assholes tried to disrupt what they do, after decades of cuts to education funding in the states. So who is "ruining everything"? Not the 99%. Instead these fascist assholes, some of whom are responsible for school shootings, are ruining everything for kids and their schools. Attacking the education system is a Nazi tactic dating back to the early 1930s. It's having a serious impact on the US. The very small minority of Nazi assholes are very effective.

Teaching 5-year-olds the "right" political opinions is not education. Teaching 5-year-olds how to masturbate is not education. If kids need to learn about gender pronouns for some reason, that's up to their parents just like religion.

I agree it's entirely up to the parents. Absolutely none of that is happening in schools IMO. The propagandists who want you to believe those lies would also attack you. It's 100% GOP politics of the lowest order, against the 'other'. That 'other' is many of us on Saidit, and yet many here act like snails who'd elect a mound of salt to govern them. .

That is definitely happening in schools. Schools are teaching kids gender ideology and critical race theory as if it's fact. And teaching them that they better not question what they're told, or something bad will happen to them.

    The left is trying to teach pre-schoolers controversial theories such as gender identity as if they're factual. Not merely allowing kids to check out books about those subjects from the library. They also push for socialism and any progressive or left-wing cause you can imagine. That's indoctrination, not education. People should form their own opinions and not have the government do it for them like in North Korea, where they teach you that Kim Jong Un doesn't poop.

    Operations such as this are the whole reason so many people hate gays and trans people in the first place. And while they are banning books, you know that libtards are just as eager to ban any books they deem "offensive", aka. contradicting their agenda.
