Tell me, good sir, what is the point of life if the universe will end with a wimper in a jillion years or reboot over and over again, forever? What should our goal in life be if everything we do will be like we never existed at all and all our accomplishments in vain?

Easy. Just create a metaverse mod that sets time to .0000000001 speed and we literally live to infinity. By then we'll solve time travel so it's all fresh.
