Yeah, it's kind of hit or miss. Kind of like Family Guy. There are some episodes that are gems, but most are pretty bland and forgettable.

I love their first few films, especially The Beast With a Billion Backs or whatever. Some of those stories were pure sci-fi. The episode where Leela and Fry get stuck in a frozen time scenario could easily have been the series finale. The latter seasons were garbage, though. Given the state of things, I really, really doubt any new Futurama is going to be good. There's just too much room for bullshit to seep in, and that's assuming they don't continue with the lazy, uncreative storylines.
