No flying tents, I staked the hell out of it because there were very high winds.

The short version is I was getting annoyed the wife, my niece, and her gay friend don't pitch in more. Camping is all manwork in their eyes, and the problem is there's just one man. The children are technically adults but they're still very young. They did seem slightly more willing to help out, but everything needs to be supervised.

I think it came off less whiny in the original.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure this is what my father experienced.
