I grew up in Enfield. Lovely as a kid, but had turned into a complete shithole by the time I was in my 20s. 10 minutes north was green fields, woods and farms, 10 mins south was tower blocks and gang stabbings. Worked in Barking and Dagenham, too. Fucking hell that place was horrendous.
